- Use sunscreen
This summer, make sure to wear sunscreen, whether you are indoor or outdoor. A sunscreen with a sun protection factor of 15 and above is highly recommended. It will be best if you also remembered that sunscreen wears off after a time, so you should make sure to reapply it some two hours or less. You should apply it also after swimming or sweating excessively. Some sunscreen does not cater for both UVA and UVB radiation. Others would keep from getting sunburned, but would not prevent the outbreak of skin cancer on the skin. Make sure to go for a broad-spectrum sunscreen that caters to both of them and is also resistant to water.
- Wear clothing to cover your skin
This is no time to wear skimpy clothes that shows off a lot of skin. You should make sure to cover every part of your skin. Long-sleeved shirts, long pants and skirts, beach cover-up, and T-shirts are clothes you should favour this summer. They protect you from the ultra-violet rays of the sun, and you can wear them alongside sunscreen. You should also make sure to include hats and gloves as part of your dressing appendage.
